White bark catches the light between layers of green. Up close, “Summer Aspen” by Astrid Paustian reveals the texture built up with oil and cold wax, ridge after ridge of paint doing the work of bark and leaf.

Mark your calendars for a SECOND Friday opening. On September 11, we’re welcoming Diane Pike’s new paintings inspired by a four week camping trip through Banff National Park.

It’s a big night in Niwot Colorado. Why Not Niwot? closes at Niwot Hall the same evening, with awards and live music from the Niwot Semi-Marching Free Grange Band, so plan to make a full evening of it between both venues.

Opening reception 5 to 9 pm. See you there!
