New Artist

“I want to paint the way the bird sings.” That’s Monet, and it’s also a pretty good description of how Astrid Paustian approaches her work. Oil, pastel, mixed media, silk, she works across mediums, always chasing vivid color and that feeling of a place just caught before it shifts. We’re glad to have her work at Osmosis.

Around the World came to today and we had the best time representing South Korea. Somaek, Muchim salad, Hanboks, and a wall of self portraits that kept growing all afternoon. K-pop demon hunters soundtrack and balloon arch did the rest. Thanks to everyone who stopped in.
