Our Hawaii Star Ball adventure continued with a beautiful Friday exploring Oahu and celebrating Jeanette J.’s birthday! 🎂🌺
Our co-owner and Dance Master Florin planned a wonderful day for the Dance Fire group. We started bright and early with a hike up Diamond Head, taking in the stunning island views. Then we stopped at the Pali Lookout to learn more about Oahu’s history, enjoyed lunch at a local seafood restaurant, and spent some time relaxing at Waimea Beach.
We ended the day with an unforgettable experience at the Toa Luau—wonderful food, Polynesian culture and traditions, and incredible island dancing and customs. What a special way to celebrate together!
There was more to celebrate at Hawaii Star Ball, too! Congratulations to Dance Masters Ricardo and Celene, who won both the Open Professional Latin and Rising Star Professional Latin Championships! 🏆
A big congratulations to Bryan, who competed in International Latin for the first time! He won all of his Bronze-level International Style dances and made the finals in both the Scholarship and Championship. Fantastic work, Bryan! Bryan and Dance Master Natalia also scored in the high 90s out of 100 for their Footloose Jive Showcase! This was the final performance of the show, and they’re already looking forward to preparing their next one.
On Saturday evening, our group enjoyed the Hawaii Star Ball gala dinner and live music by the Hawaii Star Ball Orchestra. Thank you to David Alvarez and his team for creating such a beautiful event. This was Dance Fire’s third time attending Hawaii Star Ball, and we’re so grateful for all the memories made!
See you next year, Hawaii! 🌺 Who’s coming with us? Comment below! 🌴
