East Jesus is an experimental, habitable art compound located in the famous Slab City of Niland, CA. It is a creation in progress originally built by Charles Russell and his friends. We feature a sculpture garden, art cars, Walter the 35 degree bus, as well as a selective residency program for artists and sustainability experts.
