The Riney B Aquatic Center is prominently featured in the 2024 edition of the NRPA Aquatics Guide. The National Recreation and Park Association is the largest recreational society in the country and was established in 1965. Currently, the NRPA is utilized by over 60,000 park and recreation professionals.

The Riney-B Aquatic Center is closed today and tomorrow 8/10 & 8/11 and will reopen for the weekend at its' regular hours.

Due to the threat of severe weather the Riney-B Aquatic Center will be closed today, Monday August 7th. We will be open tomorrow at 11am and hope to remain open the rest of the week as long as we can safely staff the facility.

This is the latest update on the progress of our Aquatic Center. We are currently completing extensive renovations and capital improvements, including replacement of the entire filtration system, sprayground and splash pad. Plans for the next phase of construction has been submitted to Frankfort and we are awaiting approval. It is unlikely that we will get final inspection by the state in time to open Memorial Day weekend, however we are fully committed to opening the center as soon as everything is finalized. We appreciate your patience and understanding and are excited to unveil the facility to the public. Future updates will be posted as information becomes available.

The pool’s main filtration pump experienced major failure overnight. Unfortunately repairs or replacement of the pump and possibly the motor will take at least several weeks. We are sad to say the Riney-b Aquatic Center will be closed for an extended period of time. We apologize for this unavoidable inconvenience.
