Well the Craft Show season has turned out to be a bust this year. I’ve been pretty much locked away in the shop all summer trying to practice “social distancing “ and making plaques.

I can’t sell them at the shows so I hope all of you will spread the word that I have plenty of Unique Christmas gifts for your shopping pleasure.

I’ve created a special page on my website to show what’s available. The site will show all my work both past and present. The SALE PAGE shows what is available now and the price. Once that item is sold it will be removed from this page. If you like my work I hope you will spread the word.

It’s finally finished. It’s taken several weeks but here it is. This moose was made for a lady in Corbin.

It’s made using various shades of Western Red Cedar with a small piece of Walnut for the eye and a little piece of Aspen for the twinkle in the eye.

This was a fun piece to make. I used a pattern from Judy Gale Roberts. She is truly the Artist here.

Started this project for a lady that I met at one our shows last year.
She asked if I could make her a moose head.

This is how it starts. The sanding is the real work. Once sanded the grains and colors really start to pop.
This entire piece is made with various shades of Western Red Cedar and a piece of Walnut for the eye and a small piece of Aspen for the twinkle in the eye.

Some of you have seen this piece earlier as I made it for a friend but here is the Official unveiling.

The Lion and Lamb consists of 95 pieces of Western Red Cedar, Aspen, Bass wood and Walnut. I spent most of last month trying to bring this piece to life. I change the colors of several pieces multiple times before I was satisfied. No stains were used as I want the natural wood colors to really stand out.
Do you have a special request? Drop me a note. Maybe we can make something Special just for you.

Just finished this American Robin made up of 24 pieces of Walnut, Aspen, Cherry and a piece of Padauk from Africa. No stains were used as I prefer to use the natural wood colors and grains to get the look I’m going for.

Here are a couple of feathered friends I’ve been working on.
The Lovebirds are natural wood. No stains used on these. The Blue Jay is my first piece to ever have a stain. As you can imagine there aren’t many blue trees out there.

I made the first Blue Jay out of Cedar. The wife insisted I make one blue. I have always resisted using any stains but this one is the exception.
