Proof that you can learn something everyday in surprising ways from surprising places/people! I had the pleasure of quilting a t-shirt quilt for a very "young" quilter a few weeks back. And she said something to me that made me think... I like for my quilt bindings to be thick & full but not all of them would end up that way ... fast forward to this quilter. She told me that she had read or seen where if you trim a certain way the binding will be full & thick .... so I tried it and let me tell you ... this binding is gorgeous!! I'll never trim my quilts the old way again!
