I saved our daughters favorite dresses. Our eldest wore one in left in 1986 and the youngest wore her's in 2001. I got this large bottle of Golden Alizarin Crimson at Artful Things Niceville and I'm using the dresses as inspiration for a new painting.

WHEW! Got my Art Exhibit hung at Artel Gallery in Pensacola, Fl. The first photo is a panoramic of The Vault, 2nd one is me at the end (I'm that black dot), 3rd is the gallery with fellow artist Nancy Jones Hayes of Shugs Pottery in front. It would have taken me days without Nancy and Garry Overholt! The show Fabulous Forgeries opens in the main gallery on Tuesday.

30a MONET MONET, 16x20 Oil. It looked like a place I needed to sit and just be and then paint using ALIZARIN CRIMSON. Hearing the way Donovan pronounced it in WEAR YOUR LOVE LIKE HEAVEN changed the way I saw the color.

Carol Ann Cain showed me how to do a print using a Gel Press printing pad at Artful Things open house last night. She is always so generous in sharing..thank you Carol Ann. I used a photo on my phone for inspiration and got two pulls from the plate.. It was fun!
