We’re scheduled to perform at 2pm.

We're looking forward to seeing everyone at BonFest Pensacola 2026 on Saturday, August 22 from noon to 4pm at the Sanders Beach-Corinne Jones Resource Center. This is a FREE event with Japanese Bon odori dances, taiko drumming, authentic Japanese food and craft vendors, and fun activities for all ages. Don't miss it!

Today, on Irei no Hi (慰霊の日), we remember the lives lost during the Battle of Okinawa and honor the resilience of the Okinawan people.

This performance of Sagaribana reflects on both beauty and impermanence. The sagaribana flower blooms in the night, filling the air with its fragrance, only to fall by morning. Its brief life reminds us to cherish each moment and each person we hold dear.

As we remember the past, may we also embrace the Okinawan message that continues to guide generations:

Life is precious.
