I whipped up this little guy yesterday! I used a photo a recently took while on a morning walk and added a wreath and Santa hat! Meet Santa Henry of Niantic!

Why the name Henry? Just because!

Last November my husband and I visited Niantic to prepare for our move after he accepted a job offer here. We stopped at Dunkin on Flanders Rd. and a cute gull was sitting on the retaining wall at the drive through. They said he is there a lot. Well, almost a year later he is still there a lot! He also frequents Burger King just down the road from Dunks. I thought it was so cute and still do! I befriend every creature I can and name everything just for fun. So Dunkin gull became Henry and every gull on the beach that is the same breed and size also is a Henry, lol.

I hope you enjoy Santa Henry! Prints, cards etc of this painting will be coming soon!

Hamilton is helping me paint a holiday dessert while Teddy naps on my rag pile. It’s that time of year where it’s all about holiday paintings! Love my boys so much!

I just finished up another pet commission! I can't share it though because it's a gift. The person it's getting gifted to doesn't follow me but I have no faith in the algorithms to not flash my page and post across their page. I mean I did after all talk about it and who it's for.😆 I will share it after it's gifted to be safe!

While I have a break from commissions I will finish this piece that I started in August and got left in the messy middle when I got some really fun commissions! Then I need to work on some holiday/winter pieces to be ready for that upcoming season! However, if you were wanting to commission me, still definitely let me know!

I only have so many spots available for the holidays so if you are wanting to gift and surprise someone with a holiday painting let me know soon so you can grab a spot. I would love to paint for you and just love painting pets!

I can’t even tell you how much I love this piece I just completed! One of my favorite touches on this piece is what their mom wanted included in the painting, Godot (the black dogs) “slobber slingers” aka drool strings! They are his signature accessory!

This piece was commissioned by Brittni, the owner of Know Better Do Better Dog training, and will be hanging in her training facility in Groton CT! We use Brittni personally for dog training for one of our dogs and I cannot recommend her enough if you are looking for a trainer. She’s “Pawtastic!” 😀

If you would like to have a painting of your pet or have a painting done of a friend or family members pet to gift them, let me know! 🐶🐾
