My current WIP! Godot has come to life, now it’s time for his sister to come to life before we add the “real” paint! I love this process so much.

This is a 30x30 commission that will be hanging in a dog training facility in nearby Groton! I think I’m most excited about adding the big dogs signature accessory at the end….his sweet drool string!😀🐶🐾

This one went from being called “Seaside Sunrise” to “Girl, what happened?”😆😆

I’ve always been very honest with how much I struggle painting landscapes. Give me flowers, animals, still life all day long but landscapes do me in. But, I randomly keep trying! We will never improve if we don’t try. However, I’m not in a hurry to try again soon, I’m going back to my comfort zone for now!

I feel it’s important to share wins and loses because it’s just a part of life. Sometimes we win and sometimes we are left scratching our head saying “Girl, what happened.” 😆😀

Otto is happy with his new portrait (and so is his mom) so that makes me happy! He can join his feline siblings Ollie and Oscar on the wall now. I love getting photos of my subjects posing with their portrait!

I had so much fun this morning setting up my new booth at Wilks Works CT! I have been sharing space which was awesome but I was so excited when offered my very own booth. Stop by if you are local, there so many fun items to look through.

I finally finished my Osprey! I started this one before we bought our house and didn’t get to finish it before the busy move happened.

I have been fascinated by the Osprey here on the CT coast this spring and that is what inspired me to paint this one. It’s been so fun watching these majestic birds watch over their nests and it’s super fun when you see one catch a fish and fly off with a big fish in its talons!
