While most may go through the walkthrough only once, I know there's a crowd that loves to go through again and again, sometimes into the double digits. For these people I love to hide little details to spot that most may miss on their first run through and this year there was a ton!

In each room I included nods to Death so that he was always looming over you and watching as you raced through his graveyard. Something as obvious as hiding him in the LaRouge Manor's wallpaper print, or something so hidden as shredding the church banners so that the light casts his skull on the walls overhead.
Plus, in every walkthrough I've done, I've always hidden something that directly teases what our next unannounced theme would be πŸ‘€

I'm curious how many spotted the tease this year, if any, but can't wait to tease our future theme over the course of the next year.

I want to thank everyone for coming out and showing your support tonight. If anyone took pictures, please message them to the page!What started out as a very stressful bad weather day turned into a memorable night of so many supportive comments, overwhelming compliments and without a doubt a new record for successful scares in a walkthrough. While we got about 90 percent of the effects up and running unfortunately most of the finale fell victim to the storm.
The church windows were backed with TVs that were supposed to display all of our original ghosts now surrounding the church to the audio of them banging on windows, with each walkthrough being unique to who you see. The Storyteller warns that no one can escape Death, and as a final jumpscare the Reaper would be waiting outside on stilts and have an effect where he would claim your soul.
With these unfortunate changes I still am so proud with what we accomplished!
We built our biggest and most detailed event to date, doubling the lights and speaker count of our Carnival theme. Wrote 5 original stories that were brought to life in the walkthrough and built the biggest props we've ever built.
I can't stress how much work goes into building these events, but hearing today how much it means to the community (and how far some of you drive out!) it makes every sleepless night worth it. With Reapers Rest finished, it's time for a very overdo rest for meπŸ’€ But I can't wait to show what's next... And you may just find out sooner rather than later.

Unfortunately, the relentless weather is severely hindering the quality of the event this year and select few props/effects are being affected. We are working hard to get as much working as possible and I apologize in advance if something may be down during your run through of the haunt! If anyone gets a bad run through, I plan to post an edited video of the full walkthrough in the future and hope you all still can enjoy Reapers Rest despite this weather. πŸ’€
