.band is thrilled to have in residence this week with us! Along with the Newtown Middle School concert band, we have been hard at work this semester preparing three newly commissioned works for wind band written by Dr. Weller. These works will see their world debut on our spring concert, this Thursday 5/28, @ 7:00 PM!

Today, the .band honored our fallen veterans by marching in the Newtown Memorial Day Parade. While the weather certainly presented a challenge, our students represented Council Rock North with pride, professionalism, and resilience from start to finish.

We are incredibly grateful to the parade organizers, veterans, community members, and families who made today possible, and especially thankful to those who have served and sacrificed for our country.

Thank you to our students and families for your commitment and dedication. We are proud to serve our community through music and tradition.

Who wouldn’t want to see 60 jazz musicians playing together at the same time? Come see .band Jazz ONE, Jazz TWO, NMS Jazz, and more, in concert, tomorrow night, at 7:00 PM, at Newtown Middle School.

.band had an amazing rehearsal on Monday with in preparation for our huge spring concert where we’ll be premiering 3 brand new works for band. A huge thank you to the for their generous grant that is making this all possible!

A huge thank you to Rep. Perry Warren, Senator Frank Farry, Sen. Steve Santarsiero, PA State Rep. Kristin Marcell, for welcoming the Council Rock North Bands to Harrisburg to recognize us for our USBands Group IIA Pennsylvania State and National Championships!

We also had the amazing opportunity to meet and spend time with Governor Shapiro and Speaker McClinton in the Governor's Reception Room.

We had an amazing time, and made memories that will last a lifetime!
