🐕 ⭐️IKYMI: Attention Dog Owners! Do you think your dog would be PAW-SOME on stage? Tomorrow we are hosting open dog auditions for the two roles of Bruiser and Rufus (dogs!) in our summer production of Legally Blonde: The Musical.

Bring your dog for their doggie-audition at Newtown United Methodist Church on Monday June 8 anytime between 6:30-8:30pm.

We ask that you please fill out this doggie audition form ahead of time, here https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc2NLqUxq4kyoAY02K8UY5JtMEmTqjrg_CYPTU6D_S-lcdanA/viewform

Please note: all roles are non-paid, non-equity.

📣🎬 SEEKING DOGS to portray the iconic dogs in the show: Bruiser (A chihuahua or small dog) and Rufus (A Bulldog or medium sized dog- 60 lbs max)
✔️ Dogs auditioning for Bruiser must be able to obey simple commands and/or walk on a leash, be held, or sit in a purse or carrier.
✔️ Dogs auditioning for Rufus must be able to walk on a leash or be picked up.
✔️ Both dog roles need to remain quiet as best they can during performances.
✔️ Handler must be present at all performances at Zlock Performing Arts Center at Bucks County Community College, August 6-9, 2026, dress rehearsals August 4&5, and at least one to two other rehearsals- based on your availability.
✔️ Roles *may* be dual cast, based on auditioners and dog/handler availability.
✔️ All dog auditions must have an in-person audition.
