Hey pottery people 👋

We have some bad news.. and some good news!

First the bad news. Due to an electrical amperage issue, the kiln is currently out of commission. We have an electrician coming tonight and the issue will hopefully be remedied soon, but in the meantime we are unable to fire the kiln. We are estimating this could put us ~1 week behind schedule 😢

Now for the good news: The slab roller is back in business! Please ask one of the instructors to give you a brief review prior to using it, then roll away! 😊

Welcome to your new and improved Thatcher Clay Studio my lovely pottery peoples 🥳🥳🥳

It’s been just over 3.5 years since I opened Thatcher Clay Studio and what a wild ride it’s been. Someone told me early on in this journey that our members would become my best friends and how very prophetic that proved to be. We are so excited to share our beautiful new studio space with our community and welcome new faces into this creative endeavor.

Big shout out to all of our students and members who helped with the move and our amazing staff who have made this possible. We’re still getting new equipment built and placed but all classes and open studio moving forward will be in our new space (directly across the parking lot).

I am so very grateful to all of you for helping to make this possible. Come check out the new space and get your hands in the mud 💜

Extra open studio hours available this upcoming week!

Stop in the studio this week and make some wheely cool things/work on your individual projects during open studio.

We will have our normally scheduled open studio hours as well as 9am-12pm Monday through Thursday!

Open Studio this week:
Monday 9am-12pm
Tuesday 9am-12pm, 5pm-9pm
Wednesday 9am-12pm
Thursday 9am-4pm
Friday 11am-7pm
Saturday 10am-1pm
Sunday 9am-12pm
