Calling his work “playful and full of movement,” the work of Newtown resident Jason Lynch has been chosen as the signature art for the 2026 Newtown Art Festival, set for September 18-20 this year. “For the poster,” he has said, “I wanted something playful and full of movement, something that captured the energy of the festival at a glance.” The art will be available on posters and T-shirts at the festival. The poster reminds one of the energy of a full three-ring circus, with one art intertwining with the others. “This let me show multiple aspects of the festival,” he added, “while keeping everything connected visually.”
