The Bucks County Plein Air Festival invites artists from all over the United States to enter this first annual competition to produce art from life (as opposed to in the studio). Up to 50 competing artists will paint throughout Bucks County, Pennsylvania week of June 6, 2016. The juried show will culminate in an awards presentation and gala on June 10 at Bucks County Community College's annual Tyl

er Tasting Party, and a Quick Draw demonstration and competition during a public festival on June 11. The organizing committee is excited to welcome some of the country's most accomplished artists to vibrant and historic Bucks County.

Our Story

‌Thirty artists from all over the United States will be invited to participate in the fourth annual Bucks County Plein Air Festival from October 1-6, 2019 to produce art from life (as opposed to in the studio). The juried show awards more than $15,000 in prizes and culminates in two signature events, a VIP Collector's Preview event on October 5 and a public festival on October 6 at Bucks County Community College's historic Tyler mansion and gardens. The organizing committee looks forward to welcoming some of the country's most accomplished artists to vibrant and historic Bucks County.
