Well, I just cancelled the domain and decided not to renew the Stray Kats Theatre Company website. I still have the non-profit status in case I get up the will to start it up again, but right now, I'd rather write and act than face the daunting task of producing and all the begging that entails. Final night of the Chain Theatre One-Act Festival. We made it! Colds and Covid be damned! Seen here with foavorites, hubby Don Striano and playwright John Patrick Shanley whose "Doubt" gave me so many weeks of pleasure playing Sister Aloysius. What an honor to know him.

Major Correction! The final performance of Layover at Reagan National at the Chain Theatre Festival is indeed 8/31 at 5. However, 8/31 is Saturday, not Sunday as I have been touting.

For those who wanted to come tonight, 8/25, please come next week. I am stuck at home with Covid! If you have tickets for tonight, Chain will refund or move them to next week. They sent an email.

Fabulous opening night at the Chain Theatre One-Act Festival. We were overwhelmed at the response to our play, especially considering we knew almost no one in the packed house. The sold-out show accommodated everyone on the wait list as the front of the house scrambled to add as many seats as the FDNY would permit. Program 14 runs tonight, tomorrow at 8 (8/24, 25) and next Sunday, 8/31 at 5:00. Also, a short play I directed, Jim Gordon's "Man on the Moon", is simultaneously a finalist at Theatreworks One-Act festival in New Milford, final show tonight. What a great way to end the summer.

It just keep getting better. Thanks to Eileen Lawless, Barbara Hentschel, Don Striano and the TAW team, for bringing the play to yet another level. Newvoices constantly teach me and we are so ready for a full rehearsal process and full production. The audience laughed from start to finish pausing only to soak up the temnder moments provided by these terrific actors. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
