So excited to have this commissioned piece installed at . Working alongside Sushico has been an amazing experience and I have seen their restaurant grow to be a staple in the Newton community. If you have yet to experience the food at Sushico, you are missing out. The food is amazing, both in taste and presentation. Not to mention, all ingredients are ethically sourced to minimize their environmental footprint…..and they have some good art too 😉

This painting is five 4x6’ wood panels spanning over 21 feet in length and is housed in a hardwood track system.

**HAPPY NEW YEAR**

We just wanted to take a moment to say happy new year and thank you to all of you incredible people who have made Nearby Gallery possible. There are far too many people to name here, but to all the friends, family, the Newton community, patrons of the arts, guest curators and of course the artists we could not have made any of this happen without all of your love and support!

Here's to an amazing 2022 🥂

****WIP****

Started working on this big guy thanks to a hand-me-down canvas courtesy of and Carley. Working on a bigger scale is definitely a privilege, especially in a place like Boston. Besides the larger size, I brought back some other elements of my practice that I used early on, such as; using found surfaces, incorporating charcoal drawing, using cheaper found materials like house paint and acrylic, and actually layering instead of emulating layers.

Anyway, I’ll post updates!

Hey everyone, I haven’t posted in a while because I have been so focused on building .gallery. However, I have not stopped painting and I will share some updates soon. Here is a piece I did right before the pandemic and it just recently sold. Sad to see it go, but the owner found the perfect place for it!!!
