Realizing time is short we decided to start pulling out things which would be out in the weather during haunt season anyway.

There's the trash can trauma - a homemade pneumatic driven jump scare, 'toxic' oil drums, 2 sets of shutters, cast iron railings, 2 go-go cage rockets which make excellent stands for a variety of props and lighting, and the world famous columns that Jack built.

Price update - bring your truck. Bottom up - 9 sections of really decent real wood picket fence - 93"L x 31"H (length is just a couple inches short of 9'), 7 sections of 8'L.x 4"H hauntified picket fence (aka weathered and purposely broken in spots) and 3 misc shorter pieces. $5/EA or $50 for the entire pile. (New plastic fence at that spirited Halloween store will cost at twice that for much smaller sections).

Head's up! There's a chance we might do a haunt sale on Saturday, May 16. TBD but wanted to give a bit of advance warning because it's earlier than we were planning.

Thank you for anchoring our little backyard haunt in the lore of New England haunts. To all those who've walked our path, thank you for spending time with us. For anyone who supported us in other ways, immense gratitude. And thank you to WMUR-TV!

To our Scarecrew - our haunt family - words don't begin to express our appreciation for all of you. To those no longer with us, especially Bob Murray and Mark Guida - you have no idea how much you helped this haunt to grow.

What started 26 years ago as dummies in a window and a guy jumping off the roof became something truly magical. We'll miss bringing it to you.

ps - to the FOB girls from Amesbury - you are part of the legend of the woods. 🌹

pss - we will be having a haunt sale to sell off all the props and scene settings that won't be going with us. Date TBD but will be before the end of June.

Time to pick a date for HauntSale Part 2. Possibly late May but probably June. Will be selling props, set pieces, costuming - everything we're not taking with. And that's a LOT!

So fellow haunters and those looking to become - what weekends work best for you? Definitely will do a Saturday, possibly spilling into Sunday.

The people who were at last year's sale got lots of good buys. But we literally ran out of time to put everything out. There's still 2/3 of the basement and a very large quonset hut to go. What can we say - 26 years amasses quite a collection.

Tell us in the comments what late May/June weekends work best -

Update for clarity - we do not currently have the mental capacity or the time to do anything more than schedule a date. If you're familiar with the haunt and have something specific you're interested in, feel free to ask. Once we have a chance to get an idea of what we have, we will post pictures. But it's going to be a while.
