We know we promised you a sale in early summer but life keeps taking over and organizing a sale keeps going to the bottom of the list. Wanted to let you all know it has not happened yet, it will be happening, just the timeline has shifted. There are LOTS of props and set pieces needing new homes.

If you're someone who is planning to build new props for this year's haunt season, before you go to the box store or lumber yard, check in with us. If we have wood you can use we'll happily sell it to you for a much better price than you'd get there.

Thank you for anchoring our little backyard haunt in the lore of New England haunts. To all those who've walked our path, thank you for spending time with us. For anyone who supported us in other ways, immense gratitude. And thank you to WMUR-TV!

To our Scarecrew - our haunt family - words don't begin to express our appreciation for all of you. To those no longer with us, especially Bob Murray and Mark Guida - you have no idea how much you helped this haunt to grow.

What started 26 years ago as dummies in a window and a guy jumping off the roof became something truly magical. We'll miss bringing it to you.

ps - to the FOB girls from Amesbury - you are part of the legend of the woods. 🌹

pss - we will be having a haunt sale to sell off all the props and scene settings that won't be going with us. Date TBD but will be before the end of June.

Time to pick a date for HauntSale Part 2. Possibly late May but probably June. Will be selling props, set pieces, costuming - everything we're not taking with. And that's a LOT!

So fellow haunters and those looking to become - what weekends work best for you? Definitely will do a Saturday, possibly spilling into Sunday.

The people who were at last year's sale got lots of good buys. But we literally ran out of time to put everything out. There's still 2/3 of the basement and a very large quonset hut to go. What can we say - 26 years amasses quite a collection.

Tell us in the comments what late May/June weekends work best -

Update for clarity - we do not currently have the mental capacity or the time to do anything more than schedule a date. If you're familiar with the haunt and have something specific you're interested in, feel free to ask. Once we have a chance to get an idea of what we have, we will post pictures. But it's going to be a while.

No - Miguel (the big giant Ogre that Jack built, who stands near the front gate) is not leaving.
The horse is in pieces and considered junk.
