Isn’t she lovely?😍😍😍 My friend requested a large painting (the biggest I’ve ever tackled actually!) . I used a mix of faux fur, flowers, beaded hair, faux lashes, and acrylic on wood. I sanded and painted the frame a few different stains lol and this is how she turned out!

My friend April Hartz requested a painting from me. I asked her for a theme or color scheme or whatever she was thinking so she told me “mushrooms “ and showed me a picture of a girl with mushrooms around her. I honestly had no idea where to go with it lol. But I DO know April..I know she’s a hippy at heart and loves to walk the ground barefoot. I know she likes different things like I do. So I created this piece for her, hoping so much that she was going to like it.
She fell in love with it immediately! Thank goodness! ♥️♥️♥️

This is a special piece for me. When I was little, my dad, Chris Illingworth also refinished furniture. I remember the red vinyl upholstery and how proud he was once he was done. Despite them not being my style at all, I kept them after he passed and just kept them in storage.
Recently, my cousin Krista asked if I had a chair that would fit in her dining room and it clicked.
It was my turn to refinish the chair and keep it in the family!
SO! I have begun to sand the same stain my dad had painted onto the wood, reflecting on it the entire time..murmuring to myself “DAMN! Could you have put a few MORE LAYERS OF STAIN ON THIS, dad?!?!?” 🤣🤣
I hope you’re impressed up there, Dad, and not chewing me out for the transformation that’s about to occur 🥰♥️♥️♥️

Alright, here it is!! I painted, sanded, stained, sanded, spray painted, and once again, sanded! 🤣🤣
I’m in love with this desk!!! The distressed pink/blue,gold combo of colors is seriously AMAZING!!! Plus there is also color shift glitter spray paint throughout which never hurts 😊🥰🥰🥰 all new hardware and vinyl lining on the drawer bottoms! Ready for a home!!!
