Hope you all had a great Summer, I'm sure that you didn't miss Saturday Night Live At The Legion as much as I did, but now we're back. Starting on Saturday, September 12th, we are back with weekly shows. And don't forget, September 2nd, join us for the Larry Young First Wednesday of the month Blues Jam with our special guest, Max Milowski of Mad Max and the Perpetrators.

Join us at the America Legion Post 440 on July 25th, we will be celebrating the life of Floyd A Brown, "Delaware Floyd", one of the original members of The Boston Soul R***e.
Floyd passed away on April 29 surrounded by his loving family in Delaware.
The Boston Soul R***e will be hosting along with many musical guests. All are invited.

Join us at The American Legion Post 440in Newton TONIGHT, Saturday, June 27th for our fundraiser to help us repair our roof. Dan Fontaine III and the Memphis Sun Mafia bring their award-winning Viva Las Elvis: Tribute Show will be playing your favorite ELVIS songs. So, join our sponsors, Honda Village, The Village Bank and The St Mary of Carmen Society for a great time helping a great cause. Tickets are available at the door.

Join us Saturday night, June 27th at the American Legion Post 440 in Newton as we welcome back Dan Fountaine for his award-winning Viva Las ELVIS show with the Memphis Sun Mafia. This show is a fundraiser for the American Legion to help us replace our roof. Tickets are $40 per person and are available in advance through Al Cecchinelli or Ginny Papa Gardiner, online and if still available, at the door. See you there.

Today is the first of June and the first Monday of the month, meaning that Wednesday, June 3rd is the first Wednesday of the month, bringing us to that time of the month, yes, it's time for the Larry Young Blues Jam at the American Legion Post 440. This month, we have, all the way from sunny California, the Mighty Slim. He is joining our house band of Domenic Frizzi, Jerry Gordon and sitting in on bass, Ed Moschella. Bring your instrument, we supply the PA, microphones backline amplifiers, drums and keyboard, you just plug in and play.
