🎭 Auditions are this coming Sunday and Monday evening for "The Shawshank Redemption" at Newton Community Theatre.

The performance includes roles for 12 actors, including:

📖 Andy Dufresne: A quiet, intelligent, and resilient banker. He is the central protagonist. (Playing age: 30–35)
🚬 Ellis Boyd "Red" Redding: The pragmatic, wise narrator who is the prison "guy who can get things". (Playing age: 40–45)
💰Warden Gregory Stammas: The corrupt, cruel, and authoritative head of the prison. (Playing age: 40–50)
🐦 Brooks Hatlen ("Brooksie"): The elderly, institutionalized prison librarian. (Playing age: 65–70)
🤬Bogs Diamond: The brutal and dangerous leader of the prison gang "The Sisters". (Playing age: 35–40)
🗯️Tommy Williams: A young, energetic, and street-smart inmate who becomes a catalyst for the plot. (Playing age: 20–25)
⌛Guards & Inmates: Additional roles like Bryan Hadley, Mert Entwistle, and Paul "Rico" Rodriguez round out the prison ensemble. (Playing ages: 25–45)
