Hello everyone! We wanted to share a quick update. The Rink is not open just yet as we are finishing up construction details and preparing everything for an amazing grand opening experience.

We’re excited to announce that a Grand Opening flyer will be coming out to the community very soon, so please stay tuned for dates and details.

We’re also happy to confirm that skate prices will remain the same as before. Admission including skate rental will be $10.

We understand that many of you have expressed concerns regarding our GoFundMe page, and we want to take a moment to clarify the situation.

Please be assured that all appropriate protocols were followed in relation to the incident involving the contractor. At this time, the business is closed and therefore carried liability insurance only until we are fully operational again. Unfortunately, this meant the stolen skates were not covered under our insurance policy.

As we approached our projected reopening date, several employees—including myself—encouraged the owner to allow us to create this GoFundMe campaign to help support the rink. Our owner has personally funded the entire remodel out of his own pocket, investing in not only a brand-new skating floor but a fully renovated rink designed to serve our community for decades to come.

We truly appreciate the support, questions, and concerns from our community and hope this helps provide clarity. As Mr. Gordon’s employees, we are asking our community to come together for the greater good. We love our city and cannot wait to welcome everyone back to the rink and see those smiling faces skating again.

Our community skating rink is so close to reopening—but during a remodel, the majority of the skates were stolen by a contractor, which has set the grand opening back. This rink is more than a building; it’s where families gather, kids grow, and memories are made.

To help spread the word, I’ve teamed up with the local newspaper, which will be sharing this GoFundMe and running a supporting article this Thursday.

Every donation or share of the link below helps replace skates and reopen the doors.
