🎭❤️ WE NEEDED SOME GOOD NEWS, AND BOY, DID WE GET SOME! ❤️🎭

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that the Pend Oreille Playhouse has been awarded a $6,500 grant from ArtsFund through their 2026 Youth Arts Opportunity Fund! 🎉

After some of the challenges we’ve faced recently, this news couldn’t have come at a better time. It’s a wonderful reminder that the work we do matters and that there are organizations out there who believe in what we’re building right here in our little community.

This grant recognizes our commitment to increasing access to meaningful arts experiences for youth, especially those who might not otherwise have those opportunities.

And THAT is what we’re all about! ❤️

At the Playhouse, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to step onto a stage, discover their talents, build confidence, make friendships, and find a place where they belong. Theatre is so much more than putting on a show. It’s about creating opportunities and experiences that can stay with these kids for a lifetime.

A HUGE thank you to ArtsFund for believing in our mission and investing in the future of youth arts in our community. This unrestricted funding will help support the continued operation of our Playhouse and the programs that mean so much to our families.

We also want to give a special thank you to our wonderful grant writer and board member, Terri Tomlinson for the time and effort she puts into helping make opportunities like this possible!

We’ve had some tough days lately, but today we’re celebrating a WIN! 🥹❤️

Thank you, ArtsFund, for helping us keep the magic of theatre alive in Pend Oreille County! 🎭
