🦎 AUDITIONS THIS SUNDAY! 🦎

Red Octopus Theatre Company is holding open auditions for The Night of the Iguana by Tennessee Williams this Sunday, June 7th at 6pm at the Newport Performing Arts Center.

All roles are open, and here's the best part: no preparation needed. Just show up!

Roles include a burnt-out reverend in the middle of a spectacular breakdown, a brassy and resilient hotel owner, a quietly fierce traveling artist, a flirty young traveler, and more. Also family of loud, singing Germans (bonus points if you actually speak the language!) We'd also love to see Latino men come out for these auditions, as there are some fun roles looking for you specifically.

Whether you're a seasoned actor or just curious about getting on stage, we want to see you. New faces are always welcome. 🎭

Tonight's performance of Barefoot in the Park is pay-what-you-can, even if that number is zero!
The Newport Performing Arts Center box office opens at 10am. Seats must be reserved in person, and they will "sell" fast.

Happy opening night to our friends at Porthole Players, Ltd.! We hear their production of Barefoot in the Park is nearly sold out already. (!!) Grab a ticket…if you can!
