In two weeks... OPEN AUDITIONS on Monday, September 14th @ 6pm at the PAC. (Those in "Chicago" can audition early, at 5pm.) The Christmas Show is a FUN production to be a part of, and because the show is built on short sketch comedy bits, there are plenty of opportunities to be lightly or heavily involved. Looking for actors and vocalists ages 14+ to fill a WIDE variety of roles - including a small team of featured vocalists. THE NIGHT OF THE IGUANA 🦎

Coming Soon: Tennessee Williams' sweeping drama of connection, regret, and redemption comes to life on the Oregon coast this fall! By turns darkly comic, heartbreaking, and profoundly tender, this is one of the great American plays. Nominated for three 1962 Tony Awards, including Best Play, with further nods from the Drama Desk and Olivier Awards in later years, don't miss this rare revival of a masterpiece!

Join us October 16 through November 1, 2026, with performances Friday and Saturday at 7pm and Sunday at 2pm, in the David Ogden Stiers Theatre at Newport Performing Arts Center. Directed by Bonnie Ross. Presented through special arrangement with Concord Theatricals.

We're excited to announce two upcoming OPEN AUDITIONS at the Newport Performing Arts Center!

First, on September 14th at 6pm - open auditions for "The Christmas Show" directed by Darcy Lawrence and Richie Scott (ages 14+). Learn more at: coastarts.org/events/auditions-the-christmas-show

SEEKING TWO MALE ACTORS: There are still roles open for our production of Tennessee Williams' The Night of the Iguana. Experience is appreciated but not necessary, so if you've ever wanted to try acting and are curious about the rehearsal and performance processes, this might be a good opportunity to give it a shot.

Pedro and Pancho are young men who have few lines to memorize, but spend a lot of time on stage in important supporting roles as employees at an old, beat-up hotel on the Mexican coast.

Please note that the story takes place in 1940 and reflects the cultural and societal attitudes of that era, including ideas about women, foreigners, s*x, religion, and homos*xuality.

Rehearsals begin September 8th, and performances are weekends October 16th to November 1st.
