If you’re not here with us at the Ghostly Great Lakes Weekend in person, you can join me live tonight as I live stream our investigation from the Pullar Center in Saulte Ste Marie!
Apparently the most prevalent ghost is a man in a 1970s leisure suit. Fingers crossed we see him! 👻
See how to join the circle in the comments!

Hey friends! If you’ve purchased a copy of my newest cookbook - Cuisine to Kill For - would you mind dropping a review where ever you purchased from?

Reviews are huge for us authors!

Also, if you use Goodreads, please leave your review there too.

I really appreciate you all! ❤️👻🧑‍🍳🔪

So excited to head to the upper peninsula of Michigan tomorrow for one of my favorite weekends of the year!
FYI - THREE VIP tickets have opened up! (these originally sold out within days)

If you are already attending and would like to upgrade your ticket to VIP, please contact the event!

If you’d like to join us last minute - please do! There are also still general admission spots.
Sidenote, in addition to a haunted river cruise - we are investigating an ice rink. And this is a first for me! ⛸️👻

Yesterday was one for the books! (See what I did there?)

I was so excited to be hosted by The Newport Ladies’ Book Club & Charter Books for a sold-out luncheon and author talk at the very haunted Valley Inn in Portsmouth, RI! (You’ve seen the Valley Inn on an episode of Kindred Spirits actually!)

We talked all about my latest cookbook, Cuisine to Kill For, and feasted on Penne alla Vodka - a recipe from the Valley Inn that’s actually featured in the book.

Did you know the Valley Inn was the site of a murder that resulted in the only case in American history where someone was tried and executed based on the testimony of a ghost? 👻

Also, can we talk about the group of amazing women I’m surrounded by here in Rhode Island? I’m always so grateful for and humbled by their support. ❤️

Tonight I’ll be at An Unlikely Story in Plainville, MA, and there are still a few spots left! Come see me!

Late last night Charlotte and I returned from almost 3 weeks in Europe. It was a life-changing trip and to be honest, I really didn’t take a ton of photos. Most of my camera roll is food and churches. 😂 We visited England, Spain, France, and Portugal. We even experienced a total eclipse at sea! I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to share experiences like this with my daughter. It was also the first time in a long time that the trip was not entirely work related, although we did visit a few spots featured in CTKF. 📚
There is something about a six hour time difference that makes it feel like you’re in a completely different world. It was refreshing. But now, it’s back to real life and catching up. Here’s a few photos, though they definitely do not do the trip justice! ❤️

Popped into Red lion pub today - a location featured in Cuisine to Kill For. I had visited here in 2022 and the history of this late medieval hall AND the ghost stories really stuck with me. It was so nice to be back, (and I made sure to leave this copy of the book for them. ❤️)
Our three week tour of Europe ends tomorrow, as we fly home first thing in the morning. This has been the trip of a lifetime and I’m not sure any social media post can do it justice. But one thing is for sure, the cats miss us.
