Whether she’s never picked up a football or she’s already throwing touchdowns in the backyard—this camp is for HER! ⚡

Our Girls Flag Football Camp is specifically designed to provide age-appropriate instruction for both beginners and experienced players from 2nd through 12th grade. Our coaches focus on:
✅Fundamental Skills: Passing, catching, and flag-pulling techniques.
✅Game Knowledge: Understanding plays and field strategy.
✅Teamwork: Building confidence through fun competitions and group activities.

Give your athlete the tools to succeed in a fun, supportive environment.

🎟️ Registration fee: $40 (Includes camp shirt)
*must be registered by June 12th to receive a shirt

Want to build explosive power and quickness this summer? Our Youth Speed & Agility course starts on June 15th, but we only have room for 30 participants (Grades K-12)!

Jefferson Athletics & Recreation is incredibly proud to host our upcoming Girls Flag Football Camp this June! Whether your athlete is looking to try a brand-new sport or wants to sharpen her skills for the upcoming season, this is the perfect place to build confidence, community, and fundamental skills.

Here is what you need to know:

Who: Girls in grades 2nd–12th
When: June 20–21 | 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM
Where: JHS Practice Football Field (5707 Williams Rd, Newport, MI 48166)
Cost: Only $40 per participant (and yes, a camp shirt is included! 🎉)

Our Youth Speed & Agility Course is officially open for registration! Designed for K-12 students, this 6-week program focuses on building explosive power, quickness, and coordination to help them make their bodies stronger.

🗓 Starts: June 15th

Summer hours are officially here! ☀️ Please note that the Jefferson Recreation Center is now CLOSED ON SUNDAYS.

🏊 ISR Swim returns Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings, with additional lessons on Saturday morning.

🥋 Karate will be held Monday and Wednesday evenings.

🔒 Head Locks & HammerLocks Camp takes place Monday and Tuesday at 6 PM in the Wrestling Room.

⏰ Facility Hours:
• Monday–Friday: 6 AM–9 PM
• Saturday: 9 AM–4 PM
• Sunday: CLOSED
