I, Hannah, want to personally address a situation with FWD last night. These classes have been a struggle all year. We've had to run the Stock 4 and Pure 4 combined due to car count. However we pay out for 2 separate classes and did points for both. They tell the folks at ticket office which divisions they are running and thats what gets put on transponder list. On My Race Pass, we have run them combined under "Pure 4" as I'm still learning the scoring and don't think it's possible to run 1 race under multiple categories. I separate them out at the end of everything for points. We were requested last night to put the lineup as pure 4 then stock 4 behind. So we did. We normally just start them as they qualified. We posted the lineup on My Race Pass as always. Everyone came on the track and lined up and myself and the Race Director seen them lined up and what appeared to be as it was supposed to be as they went to their spots. Here's where I'll take blame. I assumed because everyone was good as no one trying to get in front of another, etc and wasn't questioned. So race begins. After race, I checked scoring and who i had for Stock 4 winner was Dakota Collins. This is where I find out that he started at the back of Pure 4 and not back of Stock 4 at beginning of race so that has upset Cody Ritenour who was supposed to start ahead. I find this out as I'm interviewing (which is not something I normally do). I've been messaged multiple times today and see media posts. But also, no one seemed to question the lineup at the start or anytime during. If you're a racer and you see you're not starting where you're supposed to, you drop down to an official and question it. I'm not sure if the outcome would've changed or not if the start lineup would have been different. But I just wanted to get on here and personally apologize and I'll take the heat for it. We will re-evaluate next year and decide the future of the FWD classes as to whether we will run both again or just choose 1 to run. We want this place to be enjoyable and a place for everyone. Again, I apologize on behalf of the track for all the issues last night with this.
