Come join my visible mending class at this Thursday 5:30-8:30 pm!
Learn how to patch up your knitted garments with hand stitching techniques and by needle felting (which is so much fun!)
Bring in a knitted item to mend (sweaters, socks, etc.) - could be yours or a friend’s!
Cost $50. Materials provided. Scholarships available through the VAC.

Ceasefire protest at Newport City Hall today (12/15) at noon!

Watermelons are the alternate symbol for Pal.estine because of the shared colors with their flag which is banned in Is.real. It is also increasingly being labeled as anti.se.mitic in the US and other western countries (which it is not!).

While consumerist America does Black Friday shopping and flocks to Autzen Stadium for the "Civil War" football game, we will be out there reminding people of the real war 💥 that is being waged on the Palestinian people by the Zionist 🇮🇱 military.

There will be a die-in at 5th St. Market, the ‼️first such action on this issue in Eugene‼️, followed by a march to the Autzen Stadium to peacefully demonstrate there.

We echo the demands of the mass movement in defense of Palestine:
🇵🇸 PERMANENT CEASEFIRE NOW
🇵🇸 STOP U.S. AID TO ISRAEL
🇵🇸 LIFT THE SIEGE ON GAZA

Gathering @ 1pm - corner of 7th and Pearl

*this is a one way march*
1:30p Die-in demo and speak out @ 5th Street Market in front of Gordon Hotel (bring a white sheet if you have an old one)
