Aquidneck Singers, a teen and adult women’s chorus founded in 2019. Aquidneck Singers learns and performs a variety of music including music from many cultures and in other languages, in diverse styles and from different time periods. Rehearsals are fun and engaging. Singers have the opportunity to explore and develop their unique voice as well as learn skills to become more confident musicians. No matter what your previous musical experience and background, the Aquidneck Singers will allow you to grow and have fun doing it!

It may have been a snow day, but that didn’t stop us from singing!!! Tonight’s rehearsal was done from the coziness of our homes! Rain or shine (or snow), we’ll find a way to sing in community! ❤️❄️

🏳️‍🌈Congrats to our friend Elizabeth Woodhouse and The Choral Collective of Newport County on forming QUORUS, the first LGBTQIA+ chorus in Newport! No audition, no fee...just the joy of singing in a safe and inclusive environment for all. Bi-weekly rehearsals start Mon. 2/6 at the Florence Gray Center. (And thanks to our pals at Newport Out for all they do to make our community more inclusive...and fun!)
