Haunted House: Walk of Terror

We are getting closer than you may realize to the Walk of Terror's opening date of October 9th! We have set up a Sunday workday, September 6th from noon to 4pm. Come when you can for as long as you can. We have a list of things that can get done in one day.

Also, every Thursday from 6pm to 730pm. If you can only help during the day, let me know and I will get you that schedule.

ALSO, we need our scare actors to voice their intent and get on the schedule. We have only had a handful of scare actors sign up and we need about 48 per night. If interested, you can also come on Sunday or any Thursdays to get your tour and ask questions. If those dates don't work, text Nancy at 757-272-5671.

Hey everyone! Our usual Thursday is here. Work night at the haunted house from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. if there's any volunteers out there to help us finish up the house or who are hoping to be a scare actor in october, come on out. We're in desperate need of more volunteers, especially scare actors!

Who all is coming to tomorrow night's volunteer meeting at the haunted house at the Scottish rite? This is open to anyone who wants to be a scare actor, help with set design, or help out in the waiting area. Tomorrow night, 6:00 p.m. , 65 Saunders road, Newport News . Whether you're coming or not, make a note below so I know how many people to expect.

The build is going really well. I feel like we're a bit ahead of schedule for once. We are looking for decorators to help us put these rooms together and actors to fill them . Next volunteer meeting will be Thursday, August 13th at 6pm.

Hey everyone! I just wanted you to know that walk of Terror will have a booth at tomorrow's Christmas in July at the vendor fair at the Scottish Rite, 65 Saunders Road in NN tomorrow from 10:00 to 3:00. You should stop by! Do some shopping, check in at the Walk of Terror table and sign up to be a volunteer, get some information about 2026 or just come hang out.

Volunteer Meeting
Thursday, June 11th at 6:00 p.m.
65 Saunders Road in NN. Looking for anyone who wants to do anything to help out. Builders, decorators, actors. Also wanting to talk with people who can help with advertising. Bring a friend or two :-)

Tickets are $17 at the door. This event is ALL INSIDE. Concessions, t-shirts and caramel apples on site as well as a photo booth to capture your memories!

Walk of Terror is hosted by Newport News Scottish Foundation and a 100% volunteer staff.
