Opening Day x Gallery Talk! ๐ŸŽจโœจ

Join us this Saturday, June 6, at 11 a.m. for the opening of our new exhibition, "Paul Reed: A Retrospective," along with a gallery talk led by exhibition curator David Gariff. An expert on the Washington Color School, Gariff knew Reed personally and will provide special insights into the work and its historical context.

David Gariff, Ph.D., is an art historian and curator specializing in modern art, the history of film, and the art of the Italian Renaissance. Having recently retired after a long tenure as senior lecturer at the National Gallery of Art, he has taught art history at universities across the United States and has held fellowships in Italy at the University of Florence, the University of Pisa, and the Institute for the History of Lombard Art in Milan.

This event is free and open to the public.

If you find yourself with a little spare time between festivities, we invite you to visit the Mary M. Torggler Fine Arts Center and explore our current exhibitions before they close on Sunday. Our beautiful atrium also makes the perfect backdrop for graduation photos! ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ“ธ
