Down to the studs means exactly what it says.
This is where the design process gets real.
Before the stone, cabinetry, lighting, furnishings, and beautiful finishes, there is structure. Framing. Open walls. New openings. Reworked sightlines. And hundreds of decisions that determine how the finished home will ultimately look, feel, and function.
For us, interior design doesn’t begin with decorating. It begins with understanding the architecture—and sometimes taking a home all the way back to its bones so we can thoughtfully rebuild it.
Working closely with the construction team during this phase allows us to address proportions, ceiling conditions, door and window placement, transitions, lighting, and all the details that will eventually disappear behind the walls.
Most of this work won’t be visible when the project is finished.
But you’ll feel the difference.
