SOPA isn’t just a dance studio. We encompass all things performing arts! And today, we want to feature our Musical Theatre program!
Did you know that our Musical Theatre classes are way more than just dancing to Broadway’s best tunes?? Our classes offer an exciting, creative environment where kids get to learn and experience the magic of combining singing, dancing, and acting. It’s all about expressing yourself, working as a team, and building confidence....all while having fun!
Did you know that our Musical Theatre instructors are all professional actresses?! With over TWENTY years of professional experience from performing on stages all over the country or behind a camera on a movie set, our instructors can provide first hand knowledge about what is means to actually work in the industry!
Did you know that at SOPA, we stage and perform in up to four productions every year on top of our recitals? Each summer, we offer TWO performance camps where we mount a full production of a junior level work AND a kids level work. Our performers get to put their training into first-hand experience. Our audition-based class, the Musical Theatre Ensemble, also performs full productions in our spring musicals, along with offering numerous other performance opportunities through the year!
If you haven’t already signed up for one of our Musical Theatre classes, then what are you waiting for?! We have many class options to choose from and classes available for all ages/levels!
