For 75 years, the Dogie Theatre marquee has shown bright on Main Street in downtown Newcastle. From grand openings like this one on March 21st 1951, to countless unforgettable movie nights, the Dogie has been more than just a theater—it’s been a gathering spot, a memory maker, and a piece of our hometown.

We would like to invite you to stop in to the theatre tonight so we can take a moment to say THANK YOU to the people of Newcastle and the surrounding communities. Your support, loyalty, and love for the silver screen have kept our doors open and our projector running for many generations.

Because of you, the magic of the movies is still alive.
