Outdoor Sculpture at Maudslay

Outdoor Sculpture at Maudslay Outdoor Sculpture at Maudslay is a reknowned exhibition that brings together artists to create site-specific sculptures in beautiful Maudslay State Park.

Now in it’s 20th year, the show features interesting, diverse, challenging, and fun sculptures representing a wide variety of contemporary approaches, and in 2005 was awarded the Massachusetts Cultural Council GOLD STAR AWARD, recognizing it as a model community art project celebrating quality, accessibility, diversity, and collaboration. The show is open to artists with a connection to the North Shore region, and is organized by the artists themselves, who volunteer their time and materials. The show is not juried – instead we work as a community so support the creation of strong work by all our artists. The quality of the work speaks for itself. The deadline is May 29, but don’t wait until the last minute, as we have a limit of 50 sculptures, and since we’re non-juried, the first 50 viable applications get in.

So good to be back this year! We look forward to seeing your creative ideas!
