After 8-1/2 years, we are leaving the Newburgh waterfront and relocating our studio across town just outside of the town border on Route 17K in Walden.

We've had a lot of questions about our sudden move. In summary; the MTA no longer operates the Newburgh/Beacon Ferry. I was told they were basically covering the taxes for the waterfront. Now that they are gone, our landlord does not want to pay the taxes and will be demolishing the warehouse buildings to make way for more-lucrative properties.

My partners and I always knew this day would eventually come, and while moving a functioning business is always a stressful effort, we cannot really complain. We had a great run in Newburgh, and we had a great deal on the rent too! But now it's time to get to work in the new space!

Our friend Joe Gaito from the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater designed this unique interpretation of "The Door of No Return" which represents the door that West African captives walked through as they were being loaded aboard ships headed to a life of enslavement. We were honored to build this scenic element from "The Holy Blues" dance performance by The Alvin Ailey troupe. Congratulations to Joe for getting a shoutout in the NY Times, and you can even see the edge of the door in the articles photo!

We had a lot of fun building this children's suitable train for the Bergenfield Public Library as designed by our friend Janice of Janice Davis Designs. In addition to the suitable train, we also provided some low relief, decorative wall panels and graphics around the walls to continue with the railroad theming.

We recently provided these lovely "front of house" banquettes" for the musical "Just In Time". We partnered with our friends at R. Ramos Upholstery just a few blocks away from us in Newburgh, NY to add their luxurious fabric to enhance the comfort of these seats for the theater guests.

Big thanks to Kathy Fabian, Juniper Street Productions, and Skylar Fox for allowing us to build the lighted heart portal you can see in the video for "Trisha Paytas' Big Broadway Dream", a one-night extravaganza which showed on February 3.

The internet sensation was joined by Sutton Foster, Ben Platt, Joy Woods, Rachel Zegler, and Amber Ardolino February 3 at Broadway's St. James Theatre.

Boop! The Musical is performing in Chicago and we had a great time contributing to the scenery. What a privilege working with so many great folks in the industry, big thanks to Kathy Fabian of Propstar! For the opportunity to realize Designer Dick Jaris' visions in life-size form. Huge thanks to Scenic Art Studios whom provided all of the paint treatments for the props we built. Boop-boop-a-doop!
