Ritz Fest needs your help as a sponsor! As was mentioned in this news repost this morning on WIS, the stigma associated with su***de is huge. This stigma has impacted our ability to get sponsors. Our upcoming 5th Annual Ritz Fest Music Festival features Ritz Fest Eve at the Newberry Opera House on 5 February 2027 and the main event the next day at the Ritz Theater, home of the Newberry Community Players who allow Ritz Fest to operate under their 501c3.

I have spent countless hours trying to get sponsors to no avail. Despite an amazing event with talented musicians, we just can't seem to get financial support. Our topic is not sexy, but our impact is huge. Consider supporting us in our efforts to bring this music festival to life to help END the silent epidemic of youth su***de with our continued partnership with The Jason Foundation, Inc. -Youth Su***de Prevention and Awareness and our 2027 partner Love Like Alissa. Our music festival is rebranded as a Music Festival for Mental Health.

We are extremely grateful to the City of Newberry, SC Government for providing us with accommodation tax funds to pay a headliner. We have exciting news to report on that very soon! Fin Anonxymous (our AMAZING sound technician) and I have started conversations and contract discussions two acts so we can them move forward with our veteran performers to get our lineup posted soon.

We are very grateful for Newberry County for awarding us accommodation tax funds for advertising. These funds must be spent on ads 50 miles outside of newberry. We are in dire need of funding so we can advertise within that 50 mile radius. Our goal is to pack the house so our fifth annual event can continue to grow.

It's a great day for Ritz Fest! Last week was "Pack the Park for Nonprofits" and I was blessed that 7 friends purchased tickets through the link and gave me some extra money to put towards our operating funds. While I would have loved to have sold more tickets, I am forever grateful to those that were able to join! A great time was had and our bank account is a little bigger!
