🩷There will be a Woman’s Club Member at the door to check in contestants and distribute numbers.

💚Please arrive on time.

🩷PLEASE ARRIVE STAGE READY! There are no areas to change.

💚Doors will not open before 8:30am for any contestant.

🩷Everyone must pay $2 cash at the door (excludes ONLY contestants)!

🏆People’s Choice envelopes will be set up for all contestants. $1 per vote! Cash/check will be accepted.

This year’s festival just felt a little different as we carried the loss of our sweet Geri in our hearts. She was truly one of the kindest souls you could ever meet, always loving, gentle, and full of warmth. There will never be another quite like her, and she will be missed more than words can say.
To all our friends and family who prayed for Kim and Alexa and lifted all of us up during this time, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Those prayers carried us through the day more than you know.
So with love, honor, and a whole lot of gratitude, we dedicate the 81st Newberry Watermelon Festival to Ms. Geraldine Langford Brown. We know she was smiling down on all of us. Forever in our hearts ♥️🍉
