AUDITION NOTICE:
Annie: The Musical
The sun’ll come out this March, and we want YOU to help bring the world of Annie to life!
We are excited to announce auditions for Annie: The Musical and are seeking performers of all ethnicities, backgrounds, and experience levels to help tell this beloved story. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or stepping onto the stage for the first time, there is a place for you in this production!

November 16, 17, & 19
5:30 PM – 7:00 PM
Ages 5–99 Welcome to Audition!
Performance Dates:
March 18–21
Thursday–Saturday at 7:00 PM
Sunday at 3:00 PM
Character Breakdown:
Annie – A tough, streetwise, yet hopeful orphan; spunky, optimistic, and independent.
Oliver Warbucks – A billionaire, stiff and stern at first, but softens when he meets Annie. Strong presence with good comic timing.
Miss Hannigan – The disillusioned, bitter matron of the orphanage. Loves to complain and drink; a comedic villain role.
Grace Farrell – Warbucks’ loyal, kindhearted secretary who is instantly affectionate toward Annie.
Rooster Hannigan – Miss Hannigan’s underhanded brother; sleazy and always looking for a quick buck.
Lily St. Regis – Rooster’s girlfriend; charming, flashy, and comedic.
President Franklin D. Roosevelt – A warm, presidential presence who joins Annie in inspiring hope and optimism.
Bert Healy – A slick, upbeat radio announcer full of personality.
Drake – Warbucks’ distinguished and proper English butler.
Mrs. Pugh, Cecille, & Annette – Warbucks’ household staff; refined, caring, and welcoming toward Annie.
The Orphans:
Molly – The littlest orphan; sweet and sometimes mischievous.
Pepper – The toughest orphan; bossy and feisty.
Duffy – The oldest orphan; strong and bold.
Kate – A quiet, shy orphan.
Tessie – The crybaby orphan (“Oh my goodness!”).
July – Motherly, calm, and dependable.
Audition Information:
Please prepare 45–90 seconds of a song from Annie for the specific character you are auditioning for. This should include a verse and chorus.
If you are not auditioning for a specific role, choose a song from the show that best showcases your voice and personality.
We are looking for a vibrant cast to fill featured roles, ensemble, orphans, servants, citizens of NYC, and more as we bring this timeless classic to life.
