We’ve taken some time before responding because we wanted to approach this the way we try to approach everything….with respect, professionalism, and compassion.
Because Rogue Studio and one of our artists have been publicly named in connection with a serious situation, we do feel it’s important to address a few things.
First, the client involved did NOT make this post. We have been in direct contact with our client, and communication has remained open. We will continue those conversations privately and will not share her medical information or private conversations in an attempt to defend ourselves publicly.
Most importantly, we hate that she has been sick and has been going through something so frightening. We genuinely care about her well-being and hope she makes a full recovery.
We take sanitation and client safety extremely seriously. Rogue Studio is a licensed studio, and we follow the sanitation and safety requirements of our profession. We are always fully willing to cooperate with the appropriate health department, medical professionals, or authorities regarding any concerns.
What we will not do is use Facebook to determine the source of an infection, debate someone’s medical condition, or make medical conclusions that aren’t ours to make. We understand that when someone you love is sick, emotions are high. We can have compassion for that while also recognizing that publicly stating our artist or studio caused an infection is a serious allegation.
To the clients and friends who have absolutely “gone to war” for Rogue Studio and Dell…we see you, and we appreciate you more than you know. ❤️ Your comments, messages, and stories about your own experiences with us have meant so much.
But we’ve read the negative comments too.
To anyone who feels their experience at Rogue Studio wasn’t what they expected, we’re sorry. We wish those concerns had been brought directly to us so we could have listened and had the opportunity to address them at the time.
But we’re listening. We’re taking notes. And if there are places we can improve, we will. We will take what is constructive from this and strive to come out better.
We could argue every comment, respond to disrespect with disrespect, or share private conversations to defend ourselves. We won’t.
Not because this doesn’t hurt or because we don’t take it seriously, but because how you treat people when things get difficult matters. Professionalism matters. Respect matters. Character matters.
That’s how we operate at Rogue Studio, and that’s how we choose to approach life.
Above all else, there is a real person at the center of this who has had ongoing medical concerns. We sincerely hope our client continues healing and makes a complete recovery. That matters more than shares, likes, or engagement on any Facebook post. đź–¤
