After months of fussing over melodies, lyrics, and arrangements, my lifelong dream of recording music has finally become a reality! And when I say lifelong, I mean ever since I can remember. I took a few detours to get here, but I’m over the moon that It’s a Beautiful Day is live. It’s a 6-song children’s EP that was created with joy and sent into the world in hopes that preschoolers and their grownups will find joy in listening. Carole King, I am not. Grateful beyond words, I am.
This album is supported, in part, by a grant from the Delaware Division of the Arts, https://arts.delaware.gov, a state agency, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts. The Division promotes Delaware arts events on DelawareScene.com.
Thanks also to Ali Hoffman for her beautiful flute performance, Plastic Eater Sound for doing behind the scenes magic and Em McKeever for teaching me all I know (so far) on the guitar. And, thanks to Michael for doing all the dishes.
