Fingers crossed that the weather cooperates for story time and book signing at Woodside Farm Creamery sponsored by Hockessin Book Shelf at 1pm. I’ll be reading my two new books (and maybe Oscar too). What could be better than ice cream and books under a tree in the summer???

I’m SO excited to share my new picture book, Good Morning, Great Blue Heron. I partnered with Dan Laughman, an amazing nature photographer, to create a book with stunning photography, colorful collage art, and playful poetry. After months and months (and months) of being with these birds, I appreciate these creatures and the fragility of their habitats even more. It’s for birders, nature-lovers, and those who want to share their love with little ones in their lives.

You can grab your copy on Amazon or your favorite online bookstore. Coming soon to Prime Hook, Hockessin Bookshelf, Newark Arts Alliance, among others. It’s intended for kids 3-8, but adults seem to like it too!!

We're so excited to be back on our home turf at the Newark Library tomorrow at 1pm. The Friends group is giving away my book, Don't Touch That, Oscar! to all children attending! Hope to see you there! (You need to register to attend. 302-731-7550.)

It looks like the weather is going to hold out today. I'm reading my new book, Don't Touch That, Oscar! at 1pm today at Woodside Farm Creamery. I love ice cream! There's a rumor that Michael will come and do a little juggling. He's a sucker for ice cream too! The event is free (the reading and juggling part) and sponsored by Hockessin Book Shelf.
