But everything goes terribly wrong when the town you expect to appear on land suddenly appears 30+ feet in the air above a nearby lake before plunging into the cold dark waters. Greyhaven is drowning in mist, and the dead are walking its streets with chains in hand. When an Azure Sky scouting party vanishes while investigating missing ships, the Vanguard is sent into a town already barricaded against the fog. The survivors whisper of an ancient bargain, a forgotten debt, and a pirate king who has returned to collect what he is owed. Somewhere beyond the harbor, something vast moves through the mist — not a ship, not a fortress, but both.

We need to ferret them out before they manage to find some new way to inflict their horrors on the town - and we might well be the only ones to stop them.
