Summer is in full swing, the block is hot and it's time to take it to the concrete.
International Hip Hop Day is Saturday, July 18th and this year with we are partnering directly with Brick City Jam to bring you our 4th edition of "Breakin a in The Bricks".
We are running on a tight schedule to cover the dance portion of the festival from 2pm to 4pm, so battles will begin promptly at 2:15pm. The full festival runs until 8pm with live murals, local vendors, and a headline set by our very own Councilman Dupré Kelly 🎤
Along with the breakin battles, this year we are opening the floor for an Amateur Open Styles battle, featuring both a cash prize and an exclusive dance scholarship opportunity provided in partnership with JERSEY MOVEMENT CAMP ™ | NEW JERSEY DANCE CLASSES IN NEWARK
From the street, to the studio, to the stage, let's bring it back and get down 1 time for hiphop.
