We were saddened to hear of the passing of Colombian artist Fernado Botero who died today at 91. Botero's signature was instantly recognizable in his paintings and many public sculptures.

Renowned American artist Brice Marden has died at the age of 84. Marden was known for exploring different modes of abstraction over his long and storied carreer.
