Each a star soloist, pianist Conrad Tao, violinist Stefan Jackiw, and cellist Jay Campbell will come together on Saturday as the Junction Trio, one of today's great "classical music supergroups" (Strings), to continue the Arens Series at Washington Irving. Postponed since late March 2020 because of the pandemic, their PSC debut on Saturday at 7:30 PM (and VIRTUALLY, on Sunday afternoon and for the five days thereafter) includes trios by Maurice Ravel and Charles Ives, as well as pianist Conrad Tao's original 'Eventide'. Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center - 11/12/22 — Peoples' Symphony Concerts

At one time or another, we have all likely attended events at Lincoln Center for Great Performers, Mostly Mozart, or the New York Philharmonic at what's now Geffen Hall.

This Saturday night, Lincoln Center is coming to us at Washington Irving High School! The next concert on the Mann Series on Saturday, November 12 at 7:30 PM features artists of the The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center in music by French composers Leclair, Francaix, Ravel, and Chausson.

The French are known for romance and Saturday's program offers it in abundance. Ernest Chausson's Concerto for Piano, Violin & String Quartet alone is worth the price of admission, but pianist Wu Han and marvelous string player colleagues Stella Chen, Arnaud Sussmann, Danbi Um, Hsin-Yun Huang, and Nicholas Canellakis offer us a program full of chamber music gems.

Join us at Washington Irving High School! 40 Irving Place (between 16th & 17th Streets), NYC.

British pianist Benjamin Grosvenor is internationally recognized for his electrifying performances, distinctive sound and insightful interpretations. His virtuosic command over the most arduous technical complexities underpins the remarkable depth and understanding of his music making. Described as “one in a million...several million” by The Independent, he has also been lauded as “a keyboard visionary” by the Süddeutsche Zeitung.

There is still time to purchase single tickets for guitarist Miloš, performing at Town Hall today at 2p.

‘Love at first listen’ is how Miloš describes the moment when, as a child in Montenegro, he first picked up the old guitar that was lying around his childhood home gathering dust. Montenegro in the early 1990s was not an obvious gateway to classical music, hence his family were cautiously supportive when, aged 14, Miloš decided to go to a specialist music school. Leaving the Balkans and arriving in London to take up a coveted place at the prestigious Royal Academy of Music was, he says, ‘a bit like going to Mars’.
