We don’t do what we do for awards or accolades. We do it for the love of TV and storytelling. But this week, Jarrett Creative had the incredible honor of winning a Realscreen Award for Jay & Pamela. And we knew it was the exact right time to honor someone else.

In the final year of his life, reality TV legend David St. John poured all of his energy and his entire heart into producing Jay & Pamela. It’s because of him that the show exudes such an infectious warmth and authenticity. While we wish David could have had many, many more productions in his future, we are unbelievably lucky that he chose Jay & Pamela to be his final one. So thank you David, for everything.

We also want to extend our gratitude to Realscreen, the illustrious jury, TLC, Jay, Pamela, Chaney, Michael, and the entire team behind this one-of-a-kind series. We are so proud of what we’ve made so far, and very excited for what’s to come 🏆

This calls for a celebration! We are immensely proud to announce Jay & Pamela has been nominated for a GLAAD Media Award in the category of Outstanding Reality Program. This show is truly made with 100% pure love. Pure love for the disability community. Pure love for the LGBTQIA+ community. Pure love for underdogs everywhere. And for that love to be recognized by an esteemed and important organization like GLAAD is an unbelievable honor 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Thank you to our series stars Jay and Pamela for being so willing to share the most vulnerable parts of yourselves with the world. And thank you to the incredible cast and crew that makes this reality show… a reality!
