Hi, I'm Buddy, a 3-year-old Standard Schnauzer. I spent months in a shelter kennel, watching every other dog leave with a family… until today. At the adoption event, I spotted him — an old fisherman in a knit beanie with the kindest weathered smile — and I just KNEW. I ran straight into his arms, and when he held me, the whole gym burst into applause. Today I learned what home feels like. ❤️

And I'm Luna, a 2-year-old Whippet! I was so shy when the shelter rescued me, I wouldn't let anyone touch me. But at the adoption event, there she was — a young woman in a denim jacket laughing so joyfully I couldn't look away. I sprinted across the gym floor and jumped right into her hug. She held me tight and whispered, "You're mine now." For the first time in my life, I felt chosen. 🐾
