We went to a dinner as a group and had a $500 bill. We tipped $40. We were happy we can be able to give our server something, but her reaction was the opposite. She told us she assumed we're going to give her at least $120. When we asked for the manager, she said she was just joking, but she wasn't smiling at all. Idk, but is $40 tip enough for $500 bill? I just feel like expecting $120 is not realistic...

I picked up the order, sat in traffic, used my gas, and brought it straight to their door—only to be handed a bag of loose coins. Quarters, dimes, pennies… like I’m some coin machine instead of a person doing a service. They’d already tipped $2 in the app, which was barely anything, and then decided to dump their spare change on top of it.
This isn’t a favor—it’s a service. Bills don’t get paid in pocket change, and gas stations don’t accept handfuls of coins like that either. It’s not even about the amount at that point—it just feels disrespectful.
Am I wrong for feeling like this wasn’t about being short on money, but more about how they chose to treat me? Like they saw a pile of loose change and thought, “good enough for the driver”?
Honestly, if that’s the mindset, just skip the delivery and go get it yourself.

I hired this interior designer to redo my bathroom and gave him a $250 budget. Nothing fancy, I literally just wanted something simple and usable. He acted like he understood and told me to trust him.
A few days later he says it’s done, and I walk in and just stand there because I know immediately this is not what I asked for. It doesn’t even make sense for a bathroom, and now I’m the one stuck dealing with it every single day.
I asked him what he was thinking and he starts explaining it like I should be impressed, like this is some kind of upgrade. I told him straight up this isn’t what I paid for and I’m not going to pretend I like it just to make him feel better.
Then he asks me for a tip. That’s when I told him he’s not getting anything extra and I’m not even paying the full amount until it’s fixed. He didn’t like that at all and started saying I’m being unreasonable, but I’m not rewarding someone for ignoring what I asked and then expecting me to be grateful for it.

I went over to my friend’s place for a chill night, just drinks and hanging out. Everything was normal, people laughing, passing bottles around, nothing serious. Then one of our friends suddenly goes quiet and starts acting like something’s wrong.
Out of nowhere she pulls out a blood pressure monitor and starts checking herself right at the table. Not once, but over and over like the whole night suddenly revolves around her. Everyone’s still holding drinks, trying to keep the vibe going, but it’s hard to ignore someone staring at numbers like they’re about to collapse.
She keeps adjusting it, rechecking, barely responding to anyone talking to her. At that point I told her straight up that if it’s that serious, she should go to a hospital instead of sitting there stressing everyone out. She didn’t like that at all and started saying I was being insensitive, but I wasn’t about to pretend that was normal behavior for a night like that.
It got awkward fast after that. People started looking at me like I said something crazy while she doubled down and kept checking like nothing else mattered. The whole mood died, conversations stopped, and instead of a chill night it turned into everyone just sitting there waiting for whatever she thought was about to happen. I just leaned back, grabbed my drink, and checked out of the whole situation because I wasn’t about to play along with that.

I’ve been dealing with this guy at my job who somehow turned me into his backup employee without ever asking. He dumps his tasks on me, has me running errands like I’m his assistant, and acts like it’s normal. At first I let it slide just to keep things smooth, but it kept happening to the point where I was basically doing two jobs while he just walked around like he owned the place.
So one day he’s busy running around pretending to be important, and I finally decide I’m done playing along. I took a break, went out to the parking area, and saw his car just sitting there. That’s when it clicked for me that if he’s going to keep treating me like that, I’m not going to keep reacting like a normal person either.
I didn’t confront him, didn’t argue, didn’t say anything. I just handled it my way. By the time I walked back in, everything looked normal on my end, but outside was a completely different story waiting for him.
Later on, he goes out and suddenly his whole attitude flips. He’s pacing, calling people, trying to figure out what happened, clearly frustrated and confused, and for once he’s the one stuck dealing with a problem instead of handing it off. He never figured out it was me, and honestly, watching him scramble like that felt like the first time things were actually even.

I got home expecting dinner, and my girlfriend was already in the kitchen smiling like she did something big. She tells me she made lasagna, like I’m supposed to be impressed. I’ve told her more than once I’m allergic to cheese and I don’t even like it, and earlier that day I said I wanted steak. Somehow none of that mattered.
She sets the plate down in front of me all excited, waiting for me to react like she just did me a favor. I’m just staring at it because there’s no way I’m eating that. It’s literally the one thing I can’t have, and she’s acting like I should be grateful.
I told her straight up I’m not eating it and she starts getting upset, saying I’m unappreciative and that she “worked hard” on it. That’s when I lost my appetite completely. I picked up the plate and dumped the whole thing onto the floor because I already said I didn’t want it.
Now she’s just standing there looking at me like I crossed a line, like I’m the problem for reacting the way I did. She starts going off about respect and how I embarrassed her in her own place, but I’m still stuck on the fact she ignored something I’ve made clear from the start. If anything, I’m the one who should be annoyed, not her, and I’m not about to pretend that was okay just to spare her feelings.

Our electrical engineer was going around installing new cables for everyone’s computers, just moving from desk to desk like it was a normal day. People were letting him into their space, trusting him to handle everything without really paying attention.
I walked by while he was working and noticed his pants were low enough that everything underneath was showing. Not a quick accident either, just fully out there while he’s bent over dealing with wires in the middle of the office. And it wasn’t hidden at all, anyone passing by could see it, they just chose not to react.
I didn’t say anything to him. I went straight to HR and reported it because I’m not about to act like that’s acceptable in a workplace. If you’re going to be moving around everyone’s desks like that, you should at least have basic awareness of how you’re presenting yourself.
Next thing I know, he gets pulled into a meeting and suddenly the whole office feels different. People start whispering, trying to figure out what happened, throwing out guesses, but nobody actually knows who reported him. Everyone’s acting confused, like it came out of nowhere, while I’m just sitting there listening to them debate it.
Some were saying it was over the top, others were saying it needed to happen, and I didn’t say a word. I just let them go back and forth about it while they tried to figure out who did it, knowing the whole time they were arguing over something I already handled.

I ordered a $300 TV off Amazon thinking I got lucky for once. It shows up, I set everything up, plug it in, and the screen is completely messed up like it didn’t even survive getting to my house. Whole thing basically useless the second it turned on.
I called Amazon and they kept bouncing me around like I was asking for something unreasonable. No real answer, no solution, just delays. So I called the delivery guy and he swore he “handled it with care” like I was just making things up.
I checked my cameras and watched him throw the box onto my doorstep like it was nothing. Not even a second of hesitation. That’s when I stopped going back and forth with them.
I sent the footage in, filed a complaint, and told them if they don’t refund me immediately I’m disputing the charge and reporting the driver directly. I’m not waiting days while they “investigate” something I already watched happen in front of my own house. If they want to protect drivers like that, they can deal with the fallout.
