Paris was melting. Connor Storrie wasnโ€™t.

A sheer ribbed tank, crystal neckwear, razor-sharp trousers, and enough Saint Laurent attitude to outshine the heatwave.

THOM BROWNE SS27 proves that consistency can still feel luxurious.

The American schoolboy, the boater hats, banker stripes, shrunken tailoring, cricket knits, sheer stockings and ceremonial finales are all here. Some may argue the collection doesnโ€™t reinvent the Thom Browne universe, but perhaps reinvention was never the point.

This season felt less about disruption and more about refinement. The craftsmanship remains exceptional, the styling endlessly considered, and the commercial pieces are among his strongest in recent seasons. While a few looks drifted toward costume, others reminded us why Browne continues to occupy a space few designers can claim: one where precision, fantasy and desirability coexist.

Not every season needs to rewrite a designerโ€™s vocabulary. Sometimes, speaking your own language fluently is enough.

Thoughts? Is Thom Browne evolving his codes or perfecting them?

Domenico Orefice SS27 continues the dark sculptural language introduced in Lumen, but I found myself looking beyond the leather. Intriguing collars, cinched waists, asymmetry, soft pleats, breathable volumes and thoughtful details kept pulling me back. Some looks werenโ€™t for me, many were. An interesting young voice in Milan menswear worth watching.

Dolce & Gabbana SS27.

I shared the collection yesterday. Today, I revisited it differently.

No ratings. No formal review. Just my first impressions, scribbled while looking through the runway images, what caught my eye, what I loved, what Iโ€™d wear, and what simply made me pause.

Fashion is personal. These notes are mine.

PRADA SS27 arrives in Milan with cropped jackets, second-skin leather trousers, transparent layers and resort-inflected ease. Yet for a house celebrated for making the awkward desirable and the intellectual seductive, this season feels unexpectedly familiar.

There are echoes of late Dior Homme silhouettes, traces of early-2000s indie cool and moments that resemble elevated vacation dressing more than Pradaโ€™s signature vocabulary of studied ugliness and intelligent disruption.

Perhaps this collection is less about reinvention and more about stripping menswear down to attitude, youth and instinct. Or perhaps it simply raises a question: when does experimentation stop feeling distinctly Prada?
