History just hits different in color…
We were able to take a few iconic shots from 1961 and restore and colorize them to get a glimpse of what the freedom rides looked like in color.

The official VEVO music video of “Put Here For” from FREEDOM RIDERS is out!

The video features Anthony Chatmon II and was filmed 60 years to the day at the location where the freedom riders were attacked in Anniston, Alabama.

The blue windows are the windows of the “colored” waiting room, and the alley where the mural is painted was the location of the violent attack. It was a powerful moment to perform this song in a building created and fostered in hate.
